Researchers at the University of Cambridge announced the first human trial of a vaccine whose active ingredient was entirely designed by AI. The universal vaccine targets a broad range of viruses and showed modest effects in a small early-stage trial. Separately, Sakana AI launched its Recursive Self-Improvement Lab to advance AI model development.
