Amazon launches $1B FDE org to embed AI agents in customer deployments.

Amazon has launched a new $1 billion Foundational Deployment Entities organization, following similar initiatives from OpenAI and Anthropic. Engineers on the new team will embed within companies to deploy purpose-built AI agents, focusing on fast deployments and customer self-sufficiency.
