The US government ordered Anthropic to take Claude Fable 5 offline after becoming aware of a method to bypass or jailbreak the model. Anthropic has complied but publicly disagrees that a narrow potential jailbreak warrants recalling a commercial model deployed to hundreds of millions of people.
