OpenAI DevDay 2026 launched GPT-6.1 Sol, offering near-Astra intelligence at one-fifth the price, alongside dots (persistent always-on agents powered by GPT-6 Astra), Codex Ultrafast (up to 8x faster token generation), and Codex Security Cloud with Daybreak Blue cyber-capable models included by default. The company also published guidelines on securing frontier RL training runs.
